All owners of a prepaid number must keep their account active with constant usage and
by performing transactions such as: Calls, SMS, Top Up, if not, after a long period of inactivity meaning after expiry of the airtime period during the last top up + 120 days usually granted, the client will automatically lose the telephone line and the number will be on the «Subscriber Not Found » status.
The client that wishes to recover a «Subscriber Not Found» after a long period of inactivity must proceed to a request for recovery in a Digicel store or get in contact with one of our customer service agent or the Live Chat service and provide the following informations in order to verify if the requested number is available to recover :
- Full name of the owner of the number in question
- The NIF/CIN/Drivers license or the passport number of the owner
- The number that the customer wishes to recover
- The ICCID of the number that starts by 8901
- A contact number
- The customer’s location
NB: The customer at the end will be contacted in order to inform them if the requested number is recoverable.
