How can I participate in this promotion?
You can participate in the Promotion if you are a Digicel customer with an active Eligible Plan. You will also be able to participate in the Promotion by receiving a prize that has been gifted to you by another. Visit the MyDigicel App for more details!
How many times can I Shake It and win?
The maximum number of wins is one (1) per day.
Will I be notified when to participate?
Yes. During the Promotional Period, we will notify you when a Guaranteed Win shake is available. If you activate an Eligible Plan, you will receive a notification that you are eligible for a More Chances to Win shake.
Will I be notified when I have won a prize?
Yes. You will be notified via SMS, push or in-app notification. A confirmation notification is also sent if you are unsuccessful on a given shake.
What is the difference between Guaranteed Win and More Chances to Win?
We are offering you two ways to win through this Promotion:
- “Guaranteed Win”: Every Saturday (and other special promotion days as we may choose) during the Promotional Period, participating eligible customers who complete the “Shake It” action in the My Digicel App will receive a prize.
- “More Chances to Win”: On any other day, once you are an eligible customer, you stand a chance of winning a prize after activating a NEW Eligible Plan. You will have twenty-four (24) hours from the date and time of the “Shake It” notification to complete the “Shake It” action in the My Digicel App for a chance to win a prize.
Can I use a Digital Experience Prize together with a purchased plan or bundle?
Yes. The Digital Experience Prizes are compatible with our other plans and bundles and may be active at the same time. Any allowances (data or talk) will be depleted from your Digital Experience Prize prior to depleting any other purchased plan or bundle allowances.
How can I check the balance on my Digital Experience Prizes?
You can check your balance/usage on the home page or in the Accounts and Balances section of the MyDigicel App.
How long will my Digital Experience Prize be valid for?
On a successful Shake It and in the event of a choice of prizes, you will have 24 hours to select your prize or we will select the default prize for you.
Except for discounts on PaleNetExtra plans:
- Once a digital experience prize has been selected, it will be activated immediately and automatically for you. It is not necessary to activate it separately.
- Digital Experience prizes can be used from the time of activation and expire on the date communicated at the time of activation.
If you choose a discount on the Digicel Prime bundle as your prize, the benefit will apply to your next purchase or renewal of the specific bundle. These discount prices will be available for use up to thirty (30) days after being selected.
If you have selected but do not use your Digital Experience prize, it will expire and there will be no deferral or refund, except for digital promotional offers where deferral may be applicable as described below.
Any usage beyond the scheduled allocation or outside of the Digital Experience Prize validity period will be charged at the plan's non-promotional rates, taken from your main account data/voice allocation or charged to your Digicel credit.
Will my digital experience prize be extended for data and minutes?
No. Unused data or minutes will not be transferred from a prize or promotional package to a regular/purchased package. However, if you win and choose another promotional digital package as your prize, any remaining data balance from the old promotional digital package that is still valid will be rolled over. An expired bundle cannot be renewed.
Can I have more than one active Digital Experience Prize at the same time?
Yes, if you win more than one prize, you can activate them at the same time on your account. It is important to note that you cannot have multiple versions of the same Digital Experience Prize active at the same time. You cannot accumulate multiples of the same discount on Digicel Prime bundles PaleNetExtra as prizes; however, you will be able to choose and use different discounts, for example one for a 7 days bundle and another for a 1 day bundle.
What else do I need to know about the gift of Digital Experience?
If you choose to give a digital experience prize to someone else, you will need to enter the intended recipient's Digicel phone number and the prize list will be regenerated.The recipient can only receive prizes that are compatible with their Digicel service. The rewards offered by the gift will be automatically awarded to the recipient and activated; the recipient will also receive a notification with the details of the gift.
An error message may appear if the recipient is not entitled to the selected prize, for example when you trying to give a gift to a Postpaid customer, if their account is not active or if their number is invalid.
What else do I need to know about the selection and awarding of non-digital prizes?
- A coupon with a picture of the prize (for illustration purposes only);
- A description of the prize with a QR code;
- A phone number to contact Digicel to arrange prize collection.
You must contact Digicel at the number provided within 24 hours after receiving the notification, otherwise the prize may be forfeited.
Once you have contacted Digicel and your identification has been validated, your prize will be made available for collection.
We recommend you to claim your prize within two (2) trading days (Monday to Saturday) and you are required to claim it within fourteen (14) days from the date you have received the prize notification, otherwise the prize will be cancelled.
